US Woes Spark Pivot to Europe, Safer Sectors, BC Partners Says

Investors are being drawn to services and other sectors that are more immune to global tariffs, as volatility weighs down private markets and dealmaking, according to BC Partners Europe Chairman Nikos Stathopoulos.

“You might see a shift in where people end up investing,” Stathopoulos said in an interview with Bloomberg Television at the SuperReturn private capital conference in Berlin.
