Nedbank Group Ltd. began the search for a successor to Chief Executive Officer Mike Brown, who has been at the helm of the South African lender since 2010.
The bank hired a global firm with a “strong domestic presence” to help find a replacement for Brown, who will remain in the post until a successor has been chosen, it said in a statement on Friday. The search follows the recent appointment of Daniel Mminele as chairman of Nedbank.
