Women’s Tennis Tour Calls for Further Sanctions Against Kyrgios

The women’s WTA tennis tour called on the men’s ATP World Tour to impose further sanctions against Nick Kyrgios for his “crude and unacceptable” comments during a match in Canada this week.
The 41st-ranked Kyrgios was fined $12,500 by the ATP on Thursday for two incidents during a match the day before against two-time major champion Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland at the Rogers Cup in Montreal.
