Capital Stage AG, a German operator of clean-energy plants, agreed to purchase a solar park in the Wittenberg district of Saxony-Anhalt to increase its power-generating capacity.

The company will pay 17 million euros ($19 million) to GP Joule GmbH for two projects, adding 14 megawatts of capacity, it said Friday in a statement. One 8-megawatt park is already connected to the grid and the 6-megawatt facility is expected to be operational next month.
