Hanwha to Work With Azure to Build Solar Plant in India

Hanwha Q Cells Co., the South Korean solar panel manufacturer, agreed to work with Azure Power India Pvt Ltd. to build a solar plant in India that will generate enough electricity to supply 18,000 homes.

Construction of the project in Andhra Pradesh will start in October and it’s expected to finish by January, Hanwha said Wednesday in an e-mailed statement. No terms were disclosed.
