Swiss Olympic showjumping champion Steve Guerdat has been provisionally banned for two months after two of his horses tested positive for banned substances, the International Equestrian Federation said.
During an event in La Baule, France, in May, Guerdat’s London 2012 gold medal winning horse Nino des Buissonnets tested positive for the banned substances codeine and oripavine, the organization known as FEI said in a statement on its website Tuesday.
