Iberdrola Seeking 25-Year Wind Contract With Vermont Utility

Iberdrola SA, Spain’s largest utility, is seeking to provide electricity to Vermont’s largest utility from a 30-megawatt wind farm.

The company’s U.S. clean-energy unit submitted the 25-year contract with Green Mountain Power for approval from the state’s Public Service Board, according to an e-mailed statement Thursday from Portland, Oregon-based Iberdrola Renewables.
