Vestas Wins Half-Gigawatt of Turbine Orders in U.S. and Europe

Vestas Wind Systems A/S, the world’s largest turbine maker, won orders to supply more than 500 megawatts of equipment in three countries on two continents.

Vestas is supplying components with 429 megawatts of capacity under two U.S. orders with SunEdison Inc., according to statements on its website Tuesday. It will also supply 33 megawatts in Finland and 39 megawatts in Denmark.
