Gamesa to Build 70-Megawatt Project for Uruguay’s State Utility

Gamesa Corp. Tecnologica SA, Spain’s largest wind-turbine producer, agreed to develop a 70-megawatt power plant for Uruguay’s state utility.
The Valentines project owned by Areaflin, a unit of state-owned utility UTE, will use 35 2-megawatt turbines, the Zamudio, Spain-based manufacturer said in a statement on its website Tuesday. Terms weren’t disclosed.
