EDF Renewable Buying Salt Fork Wind Project in Texas From Cielo

Electricite de France SA’s U.S. renewable energy unit agreed to buy a wind farm in the Texas Panhandle.

The Salt Fork project will have as much as 200 megawatts of capacity when it’s complete next year, according to a statement Tuesday from San Diego-based EDF Renewable Energy. Terms of the purchase from Cielo Wind Power LP weren’t disclosed.
