Sustainable Power Group Buys Utah Project in First Deal for Wind

Sustainable Power Group, an independent power producer that’s focused primarily on solar, is expanding into wind energy by acquiring a 62.1-megawatt project in southeastern Utah.

The wind farm in San Juan County is expected to begin generating electricity by the end of the year, Salt Lake City-based Sustainable Power said in a statementBloomberg Terminal Monday. Terms weren’t disclosed.
