A former partner’s sex-discrimination case against venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers may start trial Feb. 23 with jury selection.
Ellen Pao, who left Kleiner Perkins in 2012 and is now interim chief executive officer at microblogging site Reddit Inc., appeared Tuesday with two attorneys in San Francisco state court where her case was assigned to a trial judge. Twelve jurors will be selected from a pool of as many as 350 people, said Judge Harold Kahn, who will oversee the four-week trial.
