Desalitech Ltd., a developer of desalination and industrial water-treatment technologies, signed a memorandum of understanding with Veolia Environnement SA that may lead to using its reverse-osmosis systems in Mexico.
The preliminary pact with Veolia’s water unit was signed as part of Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick’s Mexico partnership mission. If completed, the deal would complement Veolia’s technologies, Luis Maturana, chief executive officer of Latin America for Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies, said in Desalitech’s statement.
