Smith is number 26 on the overall ranking of US business schools. The College Park-based school is known for effective career placement, which is especially strong in the mid-Atlantic region. Smith rose 14 spots to land at No. 26 on this year’s ranking. Scores in learning, networking, entrepreneurship and inclusion (it ranks No. 3 nationally on the latter) all rose significantly. “The faculty are very knowledgeable, helpful, considerate and patient with students,” one recent graduate commented.
