INSEAD is number 5 on the overall ranking of European and Middle Eastern business schools. The Fontainebleau-based school is known for its global MBA, with a truly international student body. As Dean Francisco Veloso says, “everybody’s a minority because even the big countries don’t represent more than 10-12 percent of the student population.” The school has grown significantly in recent years, especially through expansion into Singapore and Abu Dhabi.
Of the four indexes this ranking is based on — Compensation, Learning, Networking and Entrepreneurship — INSEAD ranked 5th in Compensation and Networking, 12th in Entrepreneurship and 14th in Learning. Index scores are based on student and alumni survey responses as well as salary data the school reports to MBA CSEA.
