Hankamer is number 52 on the overall ranking of US business schools. The Waco-based school is known for its emphasis on practical business skills and theory. The Texas school required a set of foundational business courses, called Business Frameworks, for all those enrolled. “The program has since changed,” one graduate writes, “but I liked how our program had five ‘Core’ classes — accounting, economics, finance, management, and QBA...This kept information fresh to continue skill-building throughout the three semesters.”
Of the five indexes this ranking is based on — Compensation, Learning, Networking, Entrepreneurship and Inclusion — Baylor (Hankamer) ranked 4th in Inclusion, 44th in Networking, 53rd in Learning, 54th in Compensation and 64th in Entrepreneurship. Index scores are based on student and alumni survey responses as well as salary data the school reports to MBA CSEA.
